The “disconnects” between in-house IT and legal departments are growing more pronounced every year – despite the prominent headlines, case law, data privacy issues, and regulatory risks.

Example: The great majority (87%) of organizations responding to a recent survey believes formal data retention policies are valuable; but only slightly more than half of those organizations (46%) actually had a retention policy in place.
